I decided I was ready to quit the real world and own my own life! The time frame was at the beginning stages of the Internet - before the dot.com boom. My experience is older than Yahoo and Google.
Since then, I've successfully opened 2 internet business- both which are still alive and kicking today- I took both niches above and beyond during the highest peaks of our country's recession! Today, I offer my 3rd adventure- Niche Marketing, PR.
One began as my hobby breeding Purebred Persians for show, the world famous, Purrinlot Persian Cats- today the Purrinlot site sells Designer Pet Shampoo and grooming products, catering to show cats with long hair. An incredible Niche!
My other business, an eCommerce business, manufacturing, selling and distributing natural spa and bath product, Castle Baths. I started Castle Baths with $100, and zero knowledge of the subject . Having a passion for bath salts and online marketing, I grew Castle Baths Spa Products from the bottom up to where today It's sits among the top beauty spa and bath products sites such as Lush, Bath and Body Works and Sephora.
I am for the most part self taught, and completely versatile in all forms of the Internet and it's tools for online presence. I am however certified and trained via Google for Web analytics and Web optimization. I have made mistakes over the years as I learned and trained on myself and my own business. However, as I grew, I learned, and from my own mistakes - I found an even greater wealth of knowledge. Today, I understand B2B and B2C- which believe it or not- is marketed different! Most importantly, I understand what needs to be done and why from the Consumer view, the Professional Business Owners view and the Marketers view since I wear all three hats!
Something that I do very well is read and analyze data while walking in customer paths to find the real fruits of conversion- it's how my brain works based on the sales and marketing background skills I've developed in the last 35 years! I'm truly into subjects of Science & Math, such as Genetics, Chemistry and Metrics. All which revolve around formulations and combinations to achieve final results.
As proof in the pudding- let me share:
- 1. Genetic's- Making History in CFA, I- Laura Dilley Thomas, developed the Worlds first Blue Eye bicolor Grand Champion Persian, and the World First Odd Eye Grand champion Persian! before this - all bicolor Persians only had copper eyes!
- 2. Chemistry- I personally formulated all of Castle Baths Spa & Bath products for safety, healthy skin care and a completely true natural direction.
